Mission Statement:

We are here to help you find your loved one and to be a tool for law enforcement.

Gabriele Koschorke is our training lead for our K9 team. She has been involved with training K9’s for search and rescue since 2011.

We train at least 16 hrs. (often much more) every month to stay current in our disciplines. We understand that it is important to have the K9 team familiar with all kinds of different scenarios. We train all over the state of Arizona in all kinds of weather, elevation, in the wilderness, dunes, towns and cities. Our K9 team has been called out by several police departments to help and has been working on cold cases.

We are volunteers and are not charging for our services. We feel that our mission is to help our community, and we are honored to help.

Our current certified K9’s are:

K9 Brunhilde Brewing Storm von Philpot, GSD

Certified by the International Police Work Dog Association (IPWDA) in Trailing, Human Remains Detection (HRD) Wilderness, HRD Wilderness large area above surface HR and Crime Scene.

Certified by Jeff Schettler Georgia K9 National Training Center Trailing Level 1 to 4. Level 4 is the highest level: Trailing Master. We were the 5th team in 16 yrs to accomplish that.

We are also certified in Tactical Trailing Level 1 and 2. Usually only Special Forces or SWAT teams could pass this testing. We were the first civilian team to ever pass it. Prerequisite was the Trailing Master.

K9 Kody, GSD

Certified by IPWDA in HRD Wilderness.

Past K9:

K9 Rio, Chihuahua: Certified by IPWDA in HRD Wilderness and Crime Scene. Had special recognition by the Master trainer for IPWDA for his Crime Scene work in February 2025. He was an excellent dog especially for mine shafts, buried and enclosed spaces.

K9 Heidi, Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever mix: Certified in Trailing by IPWDA. She never gave up.

K9 Caesar, mixed breed Hybrid: Certified in HRD wilderness by IPWDA. He was very accurate, never missed anything.
